IMCU'S MEMBERS' GOLF DAY 2009

We held our much anticipated Members Annual Golf day on Friday 25th September 2009.

There were 16 teams registered for the 4 Ball Ambrose event and the players came from a cross section of our membership base – both health and transport members.

We had teams that travelled from all sides of Sydney as well as from the Hunter Region and Goulburn area and we salute them for making the early start to attend.

A day like this can’t happen without the generosity of sponsors -

Our Gold Sponsor “Allianz” provided amazing prizes for our winning golfers. Allianz are a marvellous supporter of the credit union especially when we organise special events such as the Golf Day or Promotional days for our members.

Our Silver Sponsor “Bridges Financial Planning” sponsored the on course Drink Cart .

Our other Silver Sponsor “Private Fleet” sponsored 2 drink vouchers for players.

Once again “Ceva Logistics” was a Bronze sponsor – sponsoring the “halfway house” where players can stop for a sausage sandwich after 9 hole.

This year we had a new Bronze Sponsor – “Computershare”. Computershare provided prizes for Nearest the Pin and a Drive and Pitch on the 17th hole as well as sponsoring a hole.

On behalf of the Board, Management, Staff and Members our sincere thanks goes to these valued sponsors - our golf day would not have been such a success without their support.

We also must acknowledge our business partners Travelex and Zurich Insurance for providing us with lucky door prizes. HIP Super generously donated give-aways as well.
