Phone-Tella

Phone-Tella is the credit union's phone banking service. It gives you 24 hour access to your accounts from any touchphone.

With Phone-Tella you can:

  • Check account balances
  • Check personal cheque transactions
  • Check ATM transactions
  • Check EFTPOS transactions
  • Check VISA transactions
  • Transfer between your account and other selected accounts
  • Make payments using BPAY
  • Check interest earned
  • Change your access code
  • Check presented cheques


Setting up access to Phone-Tella

Contact us for your pre-set Access Code and we will transfer you to Phone-Tella. Follow instructions: Enter membership number then #(hash) key. Enter pre-set Access Code then change code.

Access code security

New members connecting to the Phone-Tella service or members who are changing their Access Code will note that the following Access Codes will be disallowed for security reasons.

  • a subset of the member number (i.e. match first or last digits)
  • the birthdate or a sub-set (e.g. birthdate 16/12/53 and code 161253 or 1612 or 1253)
  • a simple sequence (e.g. 1,2,3,4)
  • repeated digits (e.g. 1111

We strongly recommend:

  • you do not use your Redicard/Visa PIN as your Access Code
  • you do not divulge your account details to any other person
