Phone-Tella
Phone-Tella is the credit union's phone banking service. It gives you 24 hour access to your accounts from any touchphone.
With Phone-Tella you can:
- Check account balances
- Check personal cheque transactions
- Check ATM transactions
- Check EFTPOS transactions
- Check VISA transactions
- Transfer between your account and other selected accounts
- Make payments using BPAY
- Check interest earned
- Change your access code
- Check presented cheques
Setting up access to Phone-Tella
Contact us for your pre-set Access Code and we will transfer you to Phone-Tella. Follow instructions: Enter membership number then #(hash) key. Enter pre-set Access Code then change code.
Access code security
New members connecting to the Phone-Tella service or members who are changing their Access Code will note that the following Access Codes will be disallowed for security reasons.
- a subset of the member number (i.e. match first or last digits)
- the birthdate or a sub-set (e.g. birthdate 16/12/53 and code 161253 or 1612 or 1253)
- a simple sequence (e.g. 1,2,3,4)
- repeated digits (e.g. 1111
We strongly recommend:
- you do not use your Redicard/Visa PIN as your Access Code
- you do not divulge your account details to any other person
