Industries Mutual Credit Union (IMCU) was formed through the merger of Statehealth Credit Union Limited and Transport Industries Credit Union in 2003.

Since that time we have had other credit unions join the IMCU group including Hunter Coast Credit Union in 2005 and Capital Credit Union in 2008.

IMCU’s origins began with the establishment of Statehealth Staff Credit Union in 1967 through employees banding together at NSW Department of Health. Over the years the bonds of membership extended to those employees who worked or were affiliated with the health industry Australia wide. IMCUhealth represents and recognises the unique bond between IMCU and the health industry we serve.

Through our strong relationship within the industry and focus on future growth, we are committed to continuing our superior service and providing competitive products which are tailed to meet the needs of health industry employees.

IMCU aims to continue its strong relationship and service of the transport industry. This relationship began over 40 years ago by the original efforts of the Transport Industries and Hunter Coast Credit Unions.

IMCU has since expended to service all transport industry employees (including private and government bus company employees) Australia wide.

Our industry knowledge and personalised service means that IMCUtransport can cater for the individual needs and financial requirements of transport employees.
